“All you need is love.”

 Michelle and Ryan still knew what was most important. All you needed was love. Lockdown and covid changed their original wedding plans. But we put our brains together and came up with an idea! We now had an entire day’s worth of time to work with, with no time constraints (every photographer’s dream!) We planned a day of hopping around different locations in New Orleans and enjoying every second of it.

We started out at the Roosevelt Hotel where Ryan and Michelle got ready and read letters from each other. They both shared sweet and endearing words to each other, and you can hear all of it in the video below. After getting all ready, we scurried downstairs to our transportation and headed into the quarter for their first look, which was the sweetest thing to witness. After taking a few fun photos around the quarter, we hopped back into the bus and headed over to the small ceremony where Michelle and Ryan shared vows and lifelong promises with each other. They popped champagne and got into the Rolls Royce and we all headed over to Longue Vue House and Gardens where we had a blast capturing their love in photo and video. Michelle and a quick dress change and looked stunning in her second outfit so we snapped a few more fun photos in her new look before heading back to the Roosevelt, where they cut their cake in the room and shared first dances as husband and wife on the rooftop as the sun set on this magical city. It was such a laidback and well paced day, everyone had a great time. And now, there are photos and video to look back on for a lifetime of this special day. Congratulations you two!
